About Cafe Promenade at Promenade Towers Bethesda

Miguel Vigil, owner of Café Promenade, came to the United States from El Salvador at the age of fourteen. Two years later he started working at an Italian restaurant as a Cook, where he learned the secrets of Italian cuisine which later would become his forte. Three years as part of the kitchen… staff taught him not only food preparation techniques, but most importantly, the intricacies of owning and operating a restaurant. The next logical step for Miguel was to become a Manager, a position he held for many years. Over the next several years, Miguel managed two Italian restaurants and one American. Then, In 2001, Café Promenade was born, a combination of Miguel’s experience in American and Italian cuisine. Chef/Owner Miguel Vigil wishes to share his passion for cooking he’s developed all these years with everyone who’s hungry for a wide variety of exquisite mix of what makes American and Italian food great!
