About Kunkel's Seafood & Steakhouse

The Kunkel family was introduced to the restaurant business in 1979, when Carol & John purchased a well established luncheonette located on Kings Highway in Audubon, called Del"s Luncheonette. The family lived above the business and our children were exposed to the restaurant business at a very… early age. Family has always been one of the key ingredients to our success in every restaurant that we have owned or have operated since then. The feel of family is evident throughout Kunkel's, from the moment you walk in the door and are greeted by Carol, all the way to the kitchen where son Justin is preparing some of our great meals. You feel at home in our cozy dining room featuring two fireplaces and mahogany and painted woodwork throughout, which was designed and built by John. You will also find daughter's Rachel and Tereze occasionally serving our guests, as well as son-n-law Jim overindulging on pasta on Tuesday nights.
