Our story begins in France... Le Vieux Logis (The Old Lodge) was named for a famous inn, long known for its warm hospitality and fine food, a favorite stopping place for travelers in the beautiful Dordogne region. We hope to offer the same intimacy and comfort that brought… fame to the original Le Vieux Logis, while re-interpreting its classic French cuisine for a new generation, combining its elegance and grace with American ingredients, ingenuity, and style. Bathe in the perfume of this French region! Imagine yourself surrounded by countless varieties of fresh fruit, glorious vegetables and seasonal culinary delicacies. My friend Marcel Montagnier, the esteemed restaurateur, opened our doors in 1980. What I learned from him, as well as from my husband, Jorgen Kolle, and my parents, Betty and Leon Zeiger, and from my brother, David, is that YOU, our very dear customers, are the most important ingredient on the menu.
