On Thursday night, TarcÃsio Costa, one of Alfama's co-owners, sings Bossa Nova and is accompanied by guitarrist David Cordeiro.Alfama recreates the atmosphere of a typical Lisbon taverna by offering live Fado music in its downstairs dining room. Performances are on hiatus for the summer, but will come back in late September, on Saturday night. Nathalie Pires, a talented young Fadista is the main act here. There is no cover charge, but dinner reservations are required.
