About Hourglass Tavern
The Hourglass Tavern is housed in a renovated nineteenth-century brownstone on New York's famed restaurant row. Thirty years ago, each table had a working hourglass: your dinner would take only the time it took for the sand to run down, and theatergoers wouldn't miss the curtain going up.Today, the Tavern has three intimate floors, each with its own charming personality. The hourglasses are mostly decoration, but if you've got tickets to a Broadway show, they are still used to assure that we'll get you there on time! 3 Course Pre-Theatre Prix-Fixe 4pm-8pm - 22.95. A la Carte standards & daily specials can be made a 3 course Prix-Fixe with a $10 addition. "Bettibar" is located on the second floor, offering a gamut of affordable wines, & an array of local and imported beer. The 3rd floor is available for dinner service or for booking private events.
