Campo Pizzeria is a delicious new destination for savory, rustic Italian dishes that showcase the natural flavors of simple ingredients, served in a casual, energetic atmosphere. The menu features thin-crust artisan pizza, hand made pasta, and a fresh mozzarella bar.… The kitchen is led by highly acclaimed Bay Area chef, Robert Holt. Chef Holt, who has cooked and traveled extensively throughout Italy, has over twenty years experience at top-tier Bay Area restaurants including Acquerello, Boulevard and Square One. Most recently, Holt served as executive chef of Marzano in Oakland, where his rustic and robust Italian food and savory pizza won loyal fans and a three-star review from San Francisco Chronicle Critic, Michael Bauer. Campo, which translates to “field” in Italian, represents the chefs “field-to-table” approach for sourcing only the freshest menu ingredients.
