About Guest Chef
The Guest Chef is a unique, revolving pop-up eatery in the Rockridge district, one of the food meccas of Oakland. Here, a new chef is featured in the kitchen every two weeks. For local chefs, our restaurant is the perfect venue to gain exposure and real world experience, try out a concept for the… restaurant they’d eventually like to open, or keep skills sharp and generate some revenue while waiting for the perfect job. Chefs can showcase their specialty dishes, novel cuisines, or experimental takes on the classics. The chef brings only the ingredients and their enthusiasm- Guest Chef provides everything else.
